Negative signalRole

Stowers' six-game injury absence and poor separation limited second-round TE investment.

Second-round tight end draft pick; missed games with injuries and has limited production. Stowers struggled to gain separation from defenders in minicamp, which carried over to training camp before missing the first six games with hamstring and quad injuries. Through eight games, he has just 46 receiving yards in garbage time in Sunday's loss to Washington, placing him second on the team in receiving yards for the tight end position. The Eagles are 17th in the NFL in receiving yards amongst tight ends (349 total), but the position has been hampered by Stowers' injury absence and limited effectiveness.
