Yahoo Sports NFL on Daniel Jones

Jones battling Achilles injury behind weak WR room lacking speed to stretch defenses.

Jones is fighting off an Achilles issue while playing behind an offense that cannot stretch a defense and is asked to carry a roster that has failed to support him at every turn. The Colts' personnel deficiencies—including lack of WR speed, depth at receiver, and injuries to AD Mitchell and Alec Pierce—have made it impossible for Jones to succeed in an optimized environment.
