STACKED’s take
Skattebo's lead role returns vs. Eagles, but efficiency concerns and Singletary's passing work limit upside.
Skattebo resumed duties as the Giants' lead back in Week 7 after being benched in Week 6 (zero touches), rebounding with 121 yards and one TD on 18 touches. With Tyrone Tracy Jr. on injured reserve, Skattebo will work as the team's clear lead rusher, though he has not been much of a factor in the passing game (11-76-0 on 13 targets) and figures to defer most passing work to Devin Singletary, who also found the end zone in Week 7. Skattebo's role places him back in the RB2/flex mix, but his 10.8 fantasy PPG during Weeks 1–5 despite averaging 18.2 touches suggests efficiency concerns. The Eagles have been solid against running backs this season despite facing the most RB touches.
