Windy City Gridiron on Jaxon Smith-Njigba

Smith-Njigba scored 43-yard TD but OPI flag killed third-quarter red-zone drive.

Smith-Njigba scored a 43-yard touchdown from Sam Darnold with 30 seconds left in the first half (extra point missed, 13–9 at halftime), but was flagged for offensive pass interference at the end of the third quarter near the goal line when he extended his arm with a locked elbow into the defender's chest, affecting the defender's ability to play the pass; the flag was ruled Correct and forced Seattle to face second-and-18 from the 22-yard line, killing the drive.
