I wish I could tell you that his level of play has massively improved, but that's not the case. He could easily be a decent QB2 this week, but I wouldn't expect much more than that.

Nix could be QB2 this week but underlying play remains inconsistent despite recent scoring.

Nix is QB24 in fantasy points per game overall, but has been QB3 and QB12 in weekly scoring over the last two weeks. However, his underlying play has not improved significantly; among 25 qualifying passers over the last two weeks, he ranks 11th in yards per attempt and 12th in aDOT, but 25th in passing success rate, 18th in highly accurate throw rate, and has the fifth-highest off-target rate. Against Carolina this week (middle-of-the-road matchup ranking 15th in fantasy points per dropback), Nix could be a decent QB2 but shouldn't be expected to produce much more than that.
