Dobbins' second-half benching vs. Chiefs signals Coleman emerging as the hot hand.

Dobbins was virtually absent from the field in the second half of the Chiefs game, with rookie Jonah Coleman dominating the second half playing time. Dobbins has carried the ball 94 times this season for 306 yards and 3 touchdowns, posting a 3.3 yard per carry average—the second worst of any running back in the NFL with at least 90 carries. The source notes Coleman is clearly the 'hot hand' in Denver's group of running backs and should be in store for more carries, with Head Coach Sean Payton indicating the team looks weekly at who has the hot hand, suggesting Dobbins' workload may continue to diminish.
