Footballguys on Jahmyr Gibbs
From the article
His workload last week was enormous. He had 29 carries for 116 yards and five catches for 27 yards on a season-high 90 percent of the snaps against Green Bay, 34 touches in all. It was the first time all season he didn't score.
STACKED’s take
Gibbs' 34-touch workload and 90% snap share make him safest expensive RB despite tough matchup.
Gibbs at $9,500 is the safest expensive running back on the DraftKings board despite facing Minnesota's elite run defense (fewest fantasy points per game allowed to RBs). His workload is enormous: 29 carries for 116 yards and five catches for 27 yards on a season-high 90 percent of snaps against Green Bay (34 touches total). On the season, he has 620 rushing yards and seven touchdowns plus 32 catches for 270 yards and two more scores. He missed Wednesday's practice with a shoulder issue but returned to full participation Thursday, settling availability concerns. It was his first game all season without a touchdown, suggesting regression to the mean is likely.
