The Colts are reportedly hoping for at least a 'Christian McCaffrey-esque draft capital package' in return for Taylor, and potentially even a first-round pick to recoup value lost from surrendering their own 2027 first-round pick (a likely Top 5 selection) to the New York Jets in the Sauce Gardner trade deadline deal. It won't be an easy decision for the Colts to move Taylor unless they are 'blown away' by an offer, and it appears it may take a 'king's ransom' running back package for Indianapolis to seriously entertain trading him.
