Fantasy Life Articles on Josh Downs

Downs faces a Cowboys slot coverage ranked 30th in YPG allowed, creating a breakout opportunity.

Downs has been out-targeted by Keenan Allen in three of their last four games, but Week 9 against Dallas presents an ideal matchup. The Cowboys allow 30th-most YPG to slot WRs, 20th-worst passing success rate allowed, and 27th-worst defensive EPA per play allowed. Only the Chiefs and Lions allow more first downs per game when opposing teams target their slot WRs; only the Eagles and Lions give up more catches to interior receivers.
