Worthy's dramatic decline from rookie star to WR60 signals he's likely done as a fantasy asset.

Worthy scored nine total touchdowns as a rookie in 2024 and looked like a star in the making, but in a season and a half of games since, he's found the end zone only twice and is barely making an impact. For a brief stretch this season, he bookended the Chiefs' Week 5 bye with games of 70+ receiving yards, but since then has only six catches for 24 scoreless yards over the past two weeks, finishing as WR60 in both games. Worthy has only 230 receiving yards through seven games. Among qualifying receivers, he ranks 80th in first downs per route run (0.052) and 81st in yards per route run (1.10). Kansas City has stopped dialing up easy-button rushes for him; after rushing for 104 yards and three scores on 20 carries in 2024, Worthy hasn't been given a single carry this season. With Rashee Rice healthy again and Kansas City reportedly shopping for a receiver before the trade deadline, Worthy might be done as a fantasy asset this year.
