Aiyuk returns to 49ers facility to negotiate trade or release; $13M bonus forfeiture discussed.

San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk is expected to return to the team's facility Friday afternoon to discuss potential resolution of his contract dispute. Aiyuk has been on the reserve/left squad after failing to show up for mandatory team activities and training camp. He previously stated he would never return to the 49ers facility and claimed to have fired his agent, but now with new representation from Rosenhaus leading negotiations, he is exploring options to either be traded or released by the team. Aiyuk reportedly discussed forfeiture of a $13 million bonus as part of potential negotiations.
