Pittman shelved most of season; extension regret compounds receiver room weakness.

Michael Pittman Jr. has been shelved for the majority of the season. While he didn't cost as much to acquire as DK Metcalf, the Steelers are 'likely kicking themselves for the extension they immediately handed him,' which includes cap hits above $26 million and $24 million for the next two seasons. His absence contributes to the Steelers' weak passing attack (-0.18 EPA per dropback, 26th in NFL).
