Though Nacua was injured in the opener and missed the next two games, he has still collected 56 receptions, 26 receiving first downs and three touchdowns. He's in the run game, because he is physical. In 2025, he ran ten times for 105 yards and five rushing first downs. Nacua is still one of the real workhorses in the NFL.

Nacua's 56 receptions and versatile usage make him a key Rams playmaker despite injury.

Despite missing the opener and the next two games due to injury, Nacua has collected 56 receptions, 26 receiving first downs, and three touchdowns through eight weeks. Rams head coach Sean McVay moves Nacua around extensively—he's involved in the run game with physical second-level blocking, occasionally receives handoffs (10 carries for 105 yards and five rushing first downs in 2025), and serves as a workhorse who hurts opposing defenses with his ability to catch short passes in the middle and break free for larger yardage.
