Singletary elevated to lead back with Tracy, Skattebo out; Nagy, Harbaugh praise his professionalism.
With Cam Skattebo (hamstring) doubtful, Tyrone Tracy Jr. on injured reserve, and Najee Harris no longer on the roster, Singletary is likely to feature as the Giants' lead running back Sunday against the Eagles. This marks a dramatic shift from being a healthy scratch fourth-stringer for three consecutive games on Oct. 11. Offensive coordinator Matt Nagy praised his professionalism during the benching, noting he 'never became negative' and was 'as great of a professional player as there was.' Head coach John Harbaugh later admitted he made a mistake demoting Singletary. Running backs coach Willie Taggart expressed confidence, saying 'you can put him in there and not be nervous of him not knowing what to do.'
