From the article

the NFL still hasn't reinstated Aiyuk from the reserve/left squad list — even though Rosenhaus filed the request on October 27. Instead, it's a meeting presumably aimed at negotiating a resolution to the situation. The 49ers pushed to reporters on Thursday night the idea that Aiyuk's return to the NFL is tied to the $13 million the team believes he owes in previously paid signing bonus.

Aiyuk's reinstatement blocked by 49ers over $13M signing bonus dispute.

Aiyuk remains on the reserve/left squad list as of the article date, with the NFL not yet reinstating him despite agent Drew Rosenhaus filing the reinstatement request on October 27. The 49ers are conditioning his return on resolution of a disputed $13 million signing bonus the team claims he owes, effectively blocking his path back to active roster status and play.
