Bowers targeted in creative passing concepts vs. 49ers; Raiders ground game stalled at 31st.
Bowers, described as a tight end in-name-only, is expected to be targeted by the Raiders offense against the 49ers defense; the source notes that with Las Vegas unable to establish a consistent ground game (31st in yards at 618), offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak will dial up creative passing concepts to get Bowers loose against a 49ers defense that ranks 11th-best in yards allowed (1,472) and 17th in touchdowns given up (10).
