Negative signalRole

Shanahan's indifference signals no plans to reinstate Aiyuk after antagonistic offseason conduct.

49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan expressed indifference toward Aiyuk's scheduled meeting at the facility, stating "No clue. Your guess is as good as mine" when asked what to expect and "I could care less" when asked what he would like to see happen. Shanahan's dismissive tone suggests he has no intention of bringing Aiyuk back to the franchise, particularly given Aiyuk's antagonistic social media behavior during the offseason, including posts mocking Shanahan after a car crash. Aiyuk is currently on San Francisco's Reserve/Left Squad list but is expected to be reinstated by the NFL.
