Aiyuk tore his ACL and MCL in his right knee on Oct. 20, 2024, and has completed a lengthy rehabilitation process. He reports being back to 100 percent health and is seeking reinstatement to the NFL after being placed on the reserve/left squad list by the 49ers on Dec. 13, 2025. His agent Drew Rosenhaus filed a reinstatement request on Oct. 27, but the NFL has not yet reinstated him.
