Hall returns but faces unclear role with Allen's strong production in his absence.

Hall returns in Week 9 after missing time, but Braelon Allen has dominated the backfield in his absence, ranking 10th in rushing yards (565) and tied for fifth in yards after contact (2.64 per carry). Since Allen replaced Hall in Week 4, Allen has produced more rushing yards than Hall's best five-game stretch in his career (504 to 409). While Aaron Glenn confirmed Hall is the starter, the extent of his role remains unclear, making him a riskier start than Woody Marks until the backfield split is clarified.
