I think the dramatic 25-2 split was to send a message to Jeanty and was partially punitive for his stupid 'bulletin board' comments about the Jets' defense. Moving forward, I think it will be closer to a 50-50 workload between the two backs.

Jeanty's workload slashed to 25 carries; future in Vegas uncertain.

Jeanty saw a dramatic 25-2 carry split against the Jets, which was partially punitive for his bulletin board comments about the Jets' defense; moving forward, the workload should be closer to 50-50 with Mike Washington Jr., though Jeanty's future in Las Vegas is uncertain and could be a trade candidate if another team offered a second-round pick.
