Nussmeier impresses with rocket throw and no-look completion in practice

Rookie quarterback Garrett Nussmeier recorded a pair of impressive throws. Nussmeier, a seventh-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, made one of the plays of the day during an 11-on-11 segment when he rolled to his left and fired a rocket on the run toward tight end Jake Briningstool, who hauled in a toe-tap grab near the sideline. It was a great all-around play by Nussmeier, who later tallied a no-look completion to tight end Tre Watson over the middle during 7-on-7 drills.
