Otton re-signed but his usage under new coordinator Robinson remains uncertain.
The Bucs re-signed Otton to a 3-year deal this offseason for middle-of-the-road money and declined to bring in any serious competition to his target share beyond Day 3 pick Bauer Sharp. Otton has been a generally reliable pass catcher and run blocker who has improved slowly but surely over nearly 4 years, though fans have complaints about him losing a handle on the ball at inopportune times. The key question is whether new offensive coordinator Zac Robinson will really use him. Robinson deployed Kyle Pitts to great effect in Atlanta, but Pitts' 2025 production (88 catches, 928 yards) was partly a product of the Falcons being barren at receiver. With the Bucs having a stronger passing arsenal, Otton might stay down in the pecking order, though his size (6-5, 247 pounds) could lead to more red zone action in a position group now lacking Evans.
