Sione Vaki continues to supplement RB1 duties with Isiah Pacheco and is looking to be as ready as possible for when his number is called. On one play, Vaki was given a choice route, made the wrong read, and was locked up by Malcolm Rodriguez. After practice, when every player had left the field, Vaki continued to work on his routes, dipping and cutting off blocking bags. 'I'm just trying to gain the trust of the No. 1 guys and show that whenever they need me, whenever my number is called, that I'll be prepared for the moment.'
