By far the most intriguing situation in this class is WR Tank Dell. A dynamic and promising rookie season was cut short by injury. Dell's final contract year murky after injury; biggest offensive X-factor.

Tank Dell, the third-round pick (69th overall), enters the final year of his rookie contract with much to prove after a gruesome leg injury sidelined him all of 2025 following a dynamic rookie season. The Texans have drafted three WRs over the last two classes to replace and mitigate his loss, and the offensive coordinator and scheme have changed to favor two tight end sets that would limit Dell's opportunities. Even if Dell returns to health and contributes, it remains unclear whether the organization will reward him with a new contract given his injury history. Dell remains the single biggest X-factor on the offense.
