McCarthy went 13/15 with short throws, no deep balls; no clear edge over Murray on Day 1.

McCarthy went 13/15 with a lot of shorter throws and no real deep balls on Day 1 of training camp. He had a couple highlight throws including an arcing pass to find Jeshaun Jones along the sideline. There doesn't appear to be a clear winner of the day between McCarthy and Murray according to reporters attending the practice.
