Courtland Sutton, in Year 9, had multiple catches and big plays on Day 1. On the opening play of 7-on-7, Nix hit Sutton on a deep in-breaking route that he took the distance for a 70-yard TD, hyping up the crowd afterward. Sutton also had a 20-yard completion middle of the field and was targeted on a fade ball in one-on-one reps.
