The Seahawks signed the 33-year-old tight end to add depth to the position after releasing Harrison Bryant earlier in the week. Vannett, a 2016 94th overall pick who was traded to Pittsburgh early in 2019, has since played for Denver, New Orleans, the Giants, the Chargers, the Titans, the Vikings, and the Rams (appearing in one postseason game last year against Carolina) before reuniting with Seattle.
