The Seahawks signed the 33-year-old tight end to add depth to the position after releasing Harrison Bryant earlier in the week. Vannett, a 2016 second-round pick (94th overall) who previously played for the Seahawks before being traded to Pittsburgh in 2019, has since played for Denver, New Orleans, the Giants, the Chargers, the Titans, the Vikings, and the Rams, appearing in one postseason game last year.
