Rookie receiver Cyrus Allen, the Chiefs' fifth-round pick, was the standout performer during Wednesday's first full-team practice. Allen got open quickly against zone coverage on two reps, including one inside the red zone during the 7-on-7 period. Coach Andy Reid praised Allen, saying "Cyrus had a good day. I think Pat's got some trust there. We've got a long way to go, but he's just got to keep going, keep growing. He's got talent and he's been able to retain [information]." Allen made a leaping catch in the back of the end zone between two defenders during Sunday's 7-on-7 red zone period.
