Fifth-round rookie Allen impresses in red zone drills, competing for No. 4 receiver role.

The Chiefs' fifth-round draft pick made a leaping catch in the red zone 7-on-7 period between two defenders, showcasing his route-running ability and timing with Mahomes. Allen is competing for the No. 4 receiver role against Nikko Remigio and Jalen Royals; Coach Andy Reid provided one-on-one coaching to improve his pre-snap awareness and coverage recognition. Allen emphasized the precision required at the NFL level: 'Everything is pretty much timing. This [isn't] college anymore. This is big-boy ball. I'm on his time, and everything is very precise.'
