Gipson's veteran experience fits Harbaugh's special teams-first approach.

Gipson, a former Jet, has plenty of experience as a punt returner and was signed to the Giants. He appeared in just one game as a Giant late in 2025, but it's fair to think that Harbaugh can get the most out of him in 2026 given the new head coach's special teams emphasis and background as a special teams coordinator.
