Bagent is the primary backup to Caleb Williams and would be the first man up if Williams were unavailable. Despite minimal work since his rookie year, he put together quality tape during preseason and has benefited from coaching by Ben Johnson and the Bears' offensive staff. He signed a 2-year, $10 million deal last year and could command an even bigger payday when he becomes a free agent in 2028.
