Keenum was brought in as a veteran presence and has been integral to the Bears' 2026 season and Caleb Williams' growth. Head coach Ben Johnson credited him heavily: "He's been an integral part of what we've done. He's been tremendous in terms of Caleb's growth... His experience has been something that all these young players can really lean into." Keenum has 66 regular-season starts and won 11 games as Minnesota's starter in 2017, reaching the NFC Championship. At 38 years old, he serves as the third QB option but remains capable of playing at a high level.
