Wide receiver Cyrus Allen is competing for the No. 4 receiver spot and has been taking advantage of early camp reps with Mahomes and Reid while the main receiver core is absent. Allen was on the receiving end of one of the highlights of Sunday's practice when Mahomes put up a ball for him to jump up and secure in traffic towards the back of the end zone. He has been regarded as a strong route runner and spent one-on-one time with Reid working on pre-snap awareness and coverage anticipation.
