Tight end David Njoku joins the Chargers as part of a new tight end duo alongside Oronde Gadsden. Both players have shown they can take over games when given opportunities. Njoku never consistently found that opportunity with the Cleveland Browns, but he could thrive in Los Angeles. Head coach Jim Harbaugh has long favored using 12 personnel (two tight ends, one running back), and Justin Herbert has excelled in play-action concepts throughout his career, which could allow Njoku to become a major contributor.
