Ryan Grant was given a four-year, $29 million deal by the Ravens in 2018 despite totaling just 985 receiving yards in his first four seasons with Washington; the signing was puzzling to fans given his modest production. A failed physical nixed the deal, which ultimately led to the team signing Michael Crabtree instead. Grant fizzled out, playing just two more seasons in the NFL, ultimately proving the Ravens right for backing out of the deal due to health concerns, but the decision to give him such a contract in the first place is baffling.
