Yassmin is a former rugby player eligible for international exemption who transitioned to football in South Wales before joining Utah's football team. After six years in college, he signed with Denver (receiving $47,000 in guarantees) and was also a member of the Los Angeles Chargers in 2025 before being waived in May. He was drafted 14th overall in the 2024 CFL global draft, becoming the second tight end off the board. Between Denver and the Chargers, he also worked out with Pittsburgh in 2025.
