Allen making highlight plays and getting coaching from Reid in receiver competition.

Wide receiver Cyrus Allen is taking advantage of time with Mahomes and Reid while the main core of receivers is not at camp. From Sunday's practice observations, Allen was on the receiving end of one of the highlights of practice when Mahomes put up a ball for Allen to jump up and secure in traffic towards the back of the end zone. Allen has been regarded as a strong route runner all offseason and spent a few minutes listening to head coach Andy Reid in a one-on-one session between reps, working on pre-snap awareness to better anticipate secondary coverage.
