If O'Connell is the best quarterback in training camp, Jermod McCoy says that makes him a good trade asset for the Raiders. However, the organization committed itself to Fernando Mendoza for at least two to three years by taking him No. 1 overall, ending any hopes that O'Connell has a future in Las Vegas if he wants to be a starter in the NFL since he's entering a contract year.
