By adding Robinson and Tate, and retaining Ridley, the Titans are far better prepared at receiver. The assumption is that Tate will be the starting X receiver. Robinson is a slot, and both Ridley and Dike can play the Z position. Ayomanor is a throwback X receiver. He's obviously not going to beat-out Tate for that role.

Ayomanor, a sophomore X receiver, faces a diminished role in 2026 after the Titans signed Wan'Dale Robinson (four-year, $70M) and drafted Carnell Tate (4th overall). Tate is expected to be the starting X receiver, Robinson will play slot, and Calvin Ridley and Chimere Dike can play Z. Ayomanor could find reps at X in certain packages but must compete for playing time in a significantly upgraded receiver room.
