Yassmin is a former rugby player who transitioned to football in South Wales before joining Utah; he has prior NFL experience with the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Chargers (2025). He was drafted 14th overall in the 2024 CFL global draft as the second tight end off the board. The Packers worked out three tight ends on Monday with Tucker Kraft and Luke Musgrave on the physically unable to perform list to start training camp, placing Yassmin in a depth chart with Josh Whyle, Luke Lachey, Messiah Swinson, Drake Dabney, and R.J. Maryland.
