Fernando Mendoza, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, will begin Raiders training camp behind Kirk Cousins on the depth chart. Mendoza split time with second- and third-team units during spring workouts. The Raiders organization (HC Klint Kubiak, GM John Spytek, and minority owner Tom Brady) decided to give Mendoza time to sit and learn from veteran Cousins before getting his shot as a starter.
