STACKED’s take
Yassmin signed as Packers' international exemption with prior NFL experience.
Signed by the Packers and designated as the international exemption player following the release of edge rusher Dante Barnett. Yassmin is a former rugby player who transitioned to football in South Wales before joining Utah; he has prior NFL experience with the Denver Broncos and Los Angeles Chargers (2025). He was drafted 14th overall in the 2024 CFL global draft, the second tight end off the board. The Broncos signed him with $47,000 in guarantees, significantly more than most of Green Bay's 2026 UDFA signings. At the start of training camp, the Packers have Tucker Kraft and Luke Musgrave on the physically unable to perform list, leaving Josh Whyle, Luke Lachey, Messiah Swinson, Drake Dabney, R.J. Maryland, and Yassmin as healthy tight ends.
