Allar's Day One camp performance featured the best throws of any QB in team drills.

The rookie Penn State quarterback had the two best throws of any quarterback during team drills on Day One of training camp, including a seam shot to Max Hurleman in seven-on-sevens and a touchdown pass down the middle to Robert Tonyan from 15 yards out. While he had a few throws he would have liked back—including a check-down interception tipped by Cole Holcomb and a tight-window corner route nearly picked—the source notes it was admirable seeing him take chances when others would throw easy pitches-and-catches to the flat, though more precision on tight-window throws would be ideal. Overall, he walked away happy with his performance.
