Walthall waived with injury designation by Jets; likely headed to injured reserve.

Waived with an injury designation by the Jets on July 30, 2026 to make room for Skinner. Undrafted out of Incarnate Word, Walthall signed with the Texans initially, then joined the Jets in June before this waiver move. He will revert to injured reserve if unclaimed and could eventually be released with an injury settlement.
