Trenton Irwin, an undrafted wide receiver from the 2019 NFL Draft, signed a one-year deal with the 49ers on Friday after spending last year on the New York Jets practice squad. He has not played in an NFL game since 2024 and spent his first six years in the league with the Cincinnati Bengals, catching 46 passes for 601 yards before being waived in December 2024.
