Footballguys on Justin Jefferson
ArticleThe Most Undervalued Fantasy Assets in Every Round in 2026
From the article
Jefferson was a disappointment last year, but that was largely due to a laughably bad catchable target percentage from a quarterback in J.J. McCarthy, who was also second among quarterbacks in bad-throw percentage. Two years ago, with a competent quarterback running the offense in Sam Darnold, Jefferson had more PPR points than any wide receiver in the NFC. That kind of finish is possible again with Kyler Murray under center.
STACKED’s take
Positive signalValue
Jefferson's ADP 11 value improves with Kyler Murray replacing J.J. McCarthy at QB.
Jefferson is undervalued at ADP 11 in Round 1 despite last year's disappointment; the poor performance was largely attributable to J.J. McCarthy's poor quarterback play (second in bad-throw percentage, laughably bad catchable target percentage). With Kyler Murray now under center, Jefferson's historical production is back in play: two years ago with Sam Darnold he had more PPR points than any NFC wide receiver; the year before that he was fifth in PPR points per game in an injury-shortened campaign; in 2022 he was the only wideout to top 350 PPR points. That kind of finish is possible again with Murray.
