Shough became the Saints' starter in Week 9 and finished as QB9 in total fantasy points in the second half despite suboptimal circumstances (weak weapons, poor offensive line, completion percentage issues on deep passes). Kellen Moore's offensive system is fantasy-friendly, and Shough showed efficiency on short and intermediate routes. In 2025, he generated at least 20 rushing yards or multiple TDs in seven of his last eight games. The source projects positive regression across most metrics this season with improved offensive weapons (Travis Etienne Jr. for ground game, Jordyn Tyson for aerial options), positioning him as a high QB2 with potential to become a top-12 QB or strong streaming option.
