Watson has the most upside of any Packers receiver but is boom-or-bust. In 11 games last year, he was WR1 four times, WR4 or worse four times, WR3 once, and WR2 zero times. He didn't overlap with Tucker Kraft for a full game of snaps (they never played together except maybe one game when Kraft was returning or getting hurt), so Watson had boom games without Kraft and Kraft had boom games without Watson. Josh Jacobs is probably not getting suspended this year, which affects target volume. The source prefers Jaden Reed as more cost-efficient despite Watson's upside.
