Video: Angles and Upside Week 12 w/ Pat Kerrane & Rich Hribar
We are back to Janus Winston. Winston played well last week... My concern is that do the Giants pass with Jameus Winston under center? Because last week they went very conservative... They dropped to 47% last week with a 64% expected pass rate. That's very very conservative...they're going to be trailing in this game in all likelihood.

Giants' conservative 47% pass rate with Winston raises volume concerns for receivers.

Jameis Winston starts for the Giants in Week 12 against the Lions. The source's primary concern is whether the Giants will pass with Winston under center, given they were extremely conservative in his first start: 47% actual pass rate vs. 64% expected pass rate (minus-22% on first down, minus-17% overall). This conservative approach could suppress pass-catcher volume. However, against the Lions, the Giants will likely trail and may be more aggressive than they were against Green Bay, creating uncertainty about how aggressively the Giants will deploy Winston in this game.
